Kroybikri is a Bangladesh marketplace platform that helps people buy and sell through classified listings (products, services, and jobs), shop storefronts, wholesale trade, and online auctions (including vehicles and property). • Account details — name, email, phone number, password or sign-in credentials (including Google sign-in where offered), and profile preferences such as language or theme.
• Classified listings — ad titles, descriptions, prices, photos, district/upazilla/area, address details, category attributes (for example service type, experience, or job details), and seller or provider contact information you choose to publish.
• Shop & wholesale — shop profile and branding, catalog products, wholesale company/trade details, and related business contact information.
• Auctions & verification — auction listing details, bids, and identity or KYC documents you submit when required (for example NID or related verification photos for bidding or certain listings).
• Messaging — content of chats or inquiries between buyers and sellers on the platform.
• Search & location use — search keywords, selected category, district/upazilla/area filters, and similar browsing preferences used to show relevant results.
• Technical & usage data — IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, listing impressions or contact events, cookies, and similar diagnostics needed to operate and improve the service.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage accounts, seller dashboards, shops, and wholesale profiles
• Publish, search, filter, and display listings, shop products, wholesale offers, and auctions
• Enable messaging, order or inquiry flows, and seller–buyer communication
• Run auctions, record bids, and complete verification or KYC checks where required
• Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Improve search quality, performance, safety, and product features
• Send important service notices (for example account, listing, or security messages); marketing only where allowed and with appropriate choice

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing.

4. How information is shared

• Public listings & shops — details you include in an ad, shop page, or auction (title, photos, location, price, and other attributes) are visible to other users.
• Other users — when you message or contact someone, relevant profile or listing context may be shown to them.
• Service providers — hosting, storage, analytics, email, authentication, or payment partners who process data on our instructions.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of Kroybikri, our users, or the public.

Verification documents (such as NID or KYC uploads) are used for eligibility and trust checks and are not meant to be publicly displayed as listing content.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as language or theme), measure how the site is used, and improve reliability. We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data (including encryption in transit where supported, access controls, and secure storage of uploads). No online service is completely secure; please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or ask us to restrict certain processing. Kroybikri is intended for adults who can form a binding contract under Bangladesh law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketplace accounts. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kroybikri adds features or as legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised policy.
